Overview:
You have the capability to exclude certain products from Westfield online using Custom Product Tags. These Product Tags should be created prior to importing product into Mirakl. You can refer to the Shopify Help Centre Creating and Using Tags in Shopify for more information on how to manage tags in Shopify.
Product exclusions may occur for a number of reasons, including:
- Product cannot be fulfilled within 48 hours
- Product is in limited stock (clearance)
- You do not want to list particular items
- Product is not permitted to be sold on a marketplace
- Product not suitable or does not meet Westfield's online guidelines
- Restrictions on bulky goods, >$5k, personalization/customizable products

There are a few methods we can use, these are displayed below:
Using the "westfield_false" Tag
Exclusions at a Product level are managed via Shopify with the tag:
- westfield_false
Apply westfield_false (case sensitive) Shopify tag to the product(s) you want to exclude from Westfield's online offering.
If this product has not been sync'd up to Mirakl (Westfield's platform) then the Integration Management Portal will ignore and block this product until the tag is removed.
If the product has already been sync'd and created in Mirakl (Westfield Direct) then the offer will be deleted and the product will be displayed as 'Out of stock'.
Using a custom or pre-existing tag
Exclusions at a Product level can also be managed at the product level with your own tag.
This can be helpful if there are certain products you do not want to list that already have tags.
You will then need to Inform your onboarding team members what these tags are if you are currently onboarding or create a support ticket if you are already on the platform where our team will create a custom rule to accomodate you.
Some good examples of types of products that we have seen retailers already have tags for is pre-order, bulky goods and old stock.
