Rundown:
1. Sellers must indicate when a good is considered a Dangerous Good.
2. Sellers must provide Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for products with an MSDS requirement.
Overview:
If you are selling products that is considered a Dangerous Good, you will need to flag these products in your product data and provide a copy of the relevant Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) which our teams will store.
Dangerous Goods, are either prohibited or restricted from transport by road, rail, sea and air. Australia Post prohibits all Dangerous Goods unless they are transported as exempted quantities, or specific packaging requirements are met, as indicated by the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road or Rail.
A 'good' is deemed as 'dangerous' if it falls into one of the nine regulated hazard classes:

Exempt quantities or packaging does not change the status of the good as a Dangerous Goods which is why we require these products to be flagged. For example, batteries are considered a Dangerous Good. However, it may be exempt from this prohibition if packaged in a certain way. Regardless, we still must capture whether the product is a Dangerous Good.
Please refer to Mandatory and Recommended Attributes on Westfield online. If you sell Dangerous Goods, then you will need to provide the provide a copy of the relevant Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before you can start selling that product on Westfield online.
